Right after leaving school I knew what I wanted – to test my skills on the stock exchange and experience the feeling of moving big bucks. That is why it was fortunate for me that I was given the opportunity to complete an internship on the Frankfurt trading floor and this is where I have stayed ever since. I have been one of the players in trading for thirty years now, first on the brokerage side and moving later to the banking side. Despite the tough demands, a fast-changing market environment and ongoing regulatory pressure, I still value my work to this day and cannot imagine doing anything else.
