As a traditionally educated banker my motivation is to give our best to our clients and to be a strong partner for them. It is a matter of proving these in good times as well as in bad. I am especially proud of more than 50 transactions, which I have implemented for our clients and their staff.
In addition to professional aspects, I always focus on the person I see face to face. Furthermore a central point is building lasting relationships with our clients. This is my approach, whether I was Head of Debt Capital Markets at Steubing AG, where I was responsible for advising and structuring corporate bonds, nor at Close Brothers Seydler Bank, where I established and managed the Debt Capital Markets and also when I worked in the capital market operations of other international banks.
But why are lasting relationships with clients so important to me? Although a banker through and through, I do not focus on the one transaction. To my mind, the first transaction I implement for a client in capital markets is always the beginning of something bigger.
What else enriches my life? It is the smile of my son when I return home.
