Torsten Metzner

The capital market with all its ups and downs has always fascinated me. It was therefore quite clear to me the path I would follow after my banking training. I first studied finance in Baden-Württemberg and South Africa and then worked for four years for a Swiss private bank in Frankfurt as a client advisor and product manager for equity derivatives.

I then returned to my hometown in Bremen, where I took over the position of institutional client advisor in a private bank. I was responsible for the investment of equities, bonds and derivatives for investment companies, foundations and for private individuals with an institutional background. In addition, I supported a variety of companies in the technical implementation of capital measures, such as squeeze-outs and changes in capital, as well as the admission of shares, bonds and profit participation certificates to collective safe custody.

It is no coincidence that I don’t find ups and downs daunting. This is something you learn as a passionate supporter of the Werder Bremen football club. In my spare time, I like to travel with my wife, go on safaris in Africa and explore unknown regions – both on land and at sea.
